Regulatory Specialist


A regulatory specialist is responsible for screening, tracking, and maintaining regulatory information on ingredients. They produce and maintain accurate and complete ingredient regulatory compliance of the finished product and labeling. They ensure data accuracy and completeness and have a knowledge of both meat and non-meat ingredients.

Educational equirements vary. Many learn about food safety regulations while studying meat or food science, while some become experts through on-the-job training​​.
