Lobbyist


Agricultural lobbyists work to help government officials understand issues concerning meat production. they aim to influence policy development and look out for the interests of the individuals they represent. Furthermore, they develop and suggest strategies to enact new laws and change existing laws affecting agriculture.

An agricultural lobbyist typically has at least a bachelor's degree in political science, law, agricultural economics, journalism, public relations, or agricultural c​ommunications.
